Most saunas and cold plunge tubs ship via LTL freight on a pallet. Delivery is curbside to your driveway or property line. Inside delivery and room placement are not included in standard freight but may be available at additional cost through your carrier. The DCT Premier Edition chiller ships via FedEx or UPS Ground and does not require freight delivery.

Most orders leave the warehouse within 2–5 business days. Freight carriers will contact you to schedule a delivery window before arrival. Please ensure someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery.

All Golden Designs saunas carry a 5-year manufacturer warranty on structure and heating elements. DCT cold plunge tubs and the Premier Edition chiller carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty on materials and workmanship. Electronics and accessories are covered under separate manufacturer terms.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for items in original, uninstalled condition. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns. The 1-2 person designation reflects the interior dimensions — one person has comfortable space to recline; two can sit side by side.

Is this the same heating technology as the 2-person Reserve 8000?
Yes. The 1-2 person model uses the same PureTech™ Near Zero EMF full spectrum panel system as the 2-person model — including three FAR infrared panels and two NIR heaters. The heating configuration and EMF rating are identical. The difference is interior volume and occupant capacity, not heating quality or technology.

What does Near Zero EMF mean?
Near Zero EMF is Golden Designs' highest EMF-reduction classification. Panels in this tier measure under 3 milligauss (MG) at 2–3 inches from the panel surface. For reference, Low EMF panels measure 5–10 MG and Ultra Low EMF panels measure 3–5 MG. PureTech™ Near Zero EMF panels represent the top of the Golden Designs lineup in terms of EMF reduction.

What electrical requirements does this sauna have?
The sauna requires a dedicated 120V / 15A circuit — a standard household circuit that is not shared with other appliances. No 240V wiring is required. Most homes have available 15A circuits, but if you are unsure, a licensed electrician can confirm your panel capacity before delivery.

Can one person use this sauna comfortably?
Yes — and for solo use, this is the most space-efficient option in the lineup. A single occupant has full access to all heating panels positioned at the front, back, and sides, and can stretch out on the bench for a more relaxed session posture. The chromotherapy and audio systems operate the same regardless of occupant count.

The Reserve 8000 1-2 person ships via LTL freight in two cartons and is delivered curbside. Two adults can complete assembly using the included instructions. Professional installation is not required. Inside delivery is not included but may be arranged at additional cost with the freight carrier.
